MRL SD45 #353

a brand new kato sd45 from the latest run (dcc ready) has been carefully disassembled and sand blasted. after a first coat of primer gray it was then painted blue  and black by using professional airbrush equipment. a few of the applied decals are custom printed (numberboards, cab numbers, rear numbers). some light weathering has been applied before a final coat of flat finish was used to seal paint and decals. also appropriate micro-trains couplers (1015) have been installed.

all wheels have been polished to improve traction and electrical contact. this unit has no runtime, except a quick test run to make sure you receive a perfect loco. it comes from a smoke and pet free environment
